Ed Hatfield visited Kitezh in 2014 with the group from Sevenoaks School. This visit left a lasting impression on him of the strength of Dmitry Morozov’s dream for the care of neglected orphans in Russia, and in 2016 he returned as a volunteer at Kitezh for 3 months.
Mind The Gap Youth Exchange at Kitezh
THIRTY young people between 15-25 years old met at Orion Community in Russia in Spring 2012, to create a theatrical performance together! They came from England, Moscow and Kitezh Children’s Community in Russia. Together they created the story, the songs, the music, and after only one week they performed their show to an audience in Moscow!

Kitezh & Orion Reedbed Project 2005 to 2006
The Wetlands Biological Sewerage treatment project at Kitezh Children’s Community & Orion is now completed. On 31st March 2005 Ecologia Trust received a grant to build Reedbeds for biological wastewater treatment at Kitezh and Orion under the auspices of Small Environmental Projects Scheme, Russia (SEPS-3).
