Russian craft - Domovoi

These cute and friendly Domovoi House Spirits are handmade by the children from Kitezh Children’s Community in Russia and carry a message of Good Luck for your home. Height approx 5in. Please note: As each product is handmade, the actual product may differ slightly from what is shown.

The Undividable

These dolls were spread from Tula region of Russia. They were usually presented as gifts at weddings, so that the newly married young people would live together, without separation all their life. You can give these dolls to your friends and relatives with whom you want to be.

Prosperity Angels

These sweet little net Angels are handmade by the children from Kitezh Children’s Community in Russia without the use of needles or pins to signify perfect security and safety. They are made with love to attract prosperity. Height approx 2.5in.

The Swimmer Doll

This doll traditionally comes from Rizyan, Tula, Vladimir and Kaluga regions. Kupavka symbolized the beginnning of the swimming season. People used to put the doll in the river and let the water carry it away. It was believed that the strings which were tied to its arms carried all the griefs and sorrows and the water cleansed and erased them all. This is the doll of the feasts of Agrafen the swimmer and Ivan the swimmer (6 and 7 July). They are heroes of an ancient Russian myth. Height approx 7in.
