In October 2010, 5 excited children from Thornlie Primary School in Lanarkshire set off on a journey to Georgia – to perform at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire and visit their friend Datuna at the Temi Community, a young Georgian boy who they have been fundraising for to enable him to have a life-saving operation.
Youth Exchange Between Findhorn and Kitezh Youth
After more than a year of preparation and enthusiastic fundraising, the Findhorn–Kitezh Youth Exchange has happened. In July 2009 twelve excited members of the Findhorn Youth Project arrived in Russia followed by a reciprocal visit to Findhorn by twelve young Russians in October, to undertake a life-changing journey in friendship and cultural understanding.
Kitezh Book in English is launched in Britain April 2009
Dimitry Morozov made two professional presentations to separate audiences in London at the beginning of April to introduce the English version of his book ‘Kitezh: a community approach to raising children in Russia’ followed by two presentations in Scotland, at Findhorn and at the Scotland Russia Institute in Edinburgh.

Kitezh & Orion Reedbed Project 2005 to 2006
The Wetlands Biological Sewerage treatment project at Kitezh Children’s Community & Orion is now completed. On 31st March 2005 Ecologia Trust received a grant to build Reedbeds for biological wastewater treatment at Kitezh and Orion under the auspices of Small Environmental Projects Scheme, Russia (SEPS-3).
