Child sponsors ensure our partners in Russia, Kenya, and Uganda can rely on a steady source of income to give troubled children the high-quality care and education they desperately need.
Children like Dimitry, who came to Kitezh Children’s Community, aged 9:
When my natural father died, it was a shock – but it seemed ordinary too. After all he was always drunk. So when my mother died, it didn’t really matter. My REAL parents are Kirill and Sasha: they love me. Now I’m 17 I know if it wasn’t for them, I might be a drunkard on the street, or even dead. But I don’t like to think what my life might have been. Thanks to Kitezh, I look forward, and never look back! – Dimitry, Russia
Our sponsors build a relationship with their child through letters and emails. The children adore hearing from their own special supporter and learning about life in a different country.
Sponsorship starts from £20 a month. Pooled in a Children’s Fund it is distributed equitably between all of the children at each project. You’ll receive a welcome pack with a photo and background information and, twice a year, a card or letter from your child.
