Findhorn Community Refugee Action Forum is delighted to be working with Ecologia to accept donations for the refugees now beginning to arrive from Ukraine.
The first woman arrived on Sunday 17th April 2022, and a family with three young boys is also expected to arrive soon.
With more Ukrainian families needing a safe place to live, the Refugee Action Forum has now brought Joanie’s bungalow in the Findhorn Ecovillage up to code so it can be used to provide a home for two Ukrainian women with young children.
We are looking to raise £5,000 for the bungalow and refugee support. The funds will help fix, furnish and decorate the bungalow.
We are seeking donations, both monetarily and in help with cleaning, carpentry, painting and gardening in preparation for the families arriving. Please contact Gail Shaw ([email protected]) to volunteer your skills.
Every penny that we can raise to support our Ukrainian friends is so vitally important to giving them a place that they can feel safe and welcomed in.
