Community Education Centre
at Kitezh
Our latest ambitious project is a new purpose built Education Centre at Kitezh. The Centre is crucial for Kitezh’s viability in the future with excellent facilities and enough space for up to a hundred children. It will enable Kitezh to hold seminars, family therapy training programmes and attract new foster families and therefore increase the number of children who can live in Kitezh. The Centre will be built in an organic design to express the therapeutic ethos of beauty without and within and to the highest environmental standards possible.
The new Education Centre will provide:
• 12 classrooms with a dedicated English classroom
• A well-equipped Science laboratory
• A Library
• An Indoor Sports Hall and Conference room
• Art and Play Therapy rooms
• A Theatre with dressing rooms, lighting and sound system
• Accommodation for visiting foster families

The 3,000sq metre Education Centre will cost approximately £500,000 over three years.Stage 1: January 2011 to August 2011
Create the design & architectural drawings, geological survey & planning permission.

Lay the foundations and build the outer structure.

Complete the internal building work, staircase, and decoration.
